We’re celebrating 40 years of conservation made possible by YOU, our amazing community! Come raise a toast (or slice of cake) and enjoy a laid-back, family-friendly event, featuring local environmental voices, lawn games, and the inside scoop on conservation in the Hilltowns.
Remarks at 11 AM. Light refreshments and birthday cake (with GF/V option) available. Bring a picnic and stay after for lunch!
Rain date: Rain or shine.
COST: Free
AGES: Family-friendly – there is a playground with swings, slides, monkey bars, and more!
DOGS: Please leave non-service dogs at home.
RSVP: Optional, appreciated to help us plan.
Accessibility
- Steps and barriers: Barrier-free access to pavilion; more info on bathrooms forthcoming.
- Audio: Remarks will use a megaphone or PA system.
- Bathrooms: Gendered indoor bathrooms; more info forthcoming.
- Fragrances: To be respectful of those with allergies and environmental sensitivities, please refrain from wearing strong fragrances.
- Parking: Multiple ADA/handicap parking spots next to pavilion, other parking on crushed gravel and lawn.
- Public transportation: The Link413 does not run on weekends.
- Seating: Picnic tables, including roll-up accessible tables. Seating is under an open-air pavilion.
- Surfaces: Concrete pavilion floor. Beyond the pavilion are graded gravel paths and grass lawn.

On Route 9 heading east through Williamsburg towards Northampton, Beaver Brook Community Park (the former golf course) will be on your left. Park in the large lot out front, or pull around to the back if you need a shorter walk for accessibility purposes.
