All About Moose

November 16, 2024

Date/Time
Date(s) - Nov 16th, 2024
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Location
Stevens Property

The text "All About Moose" and the Hilltown Land Trust logo overlaid on an image of a moose with large antlers standing in a forest.

Uncover the mysteries of the majestic moose on this autumn hike! The largest terrestrial mammal in Massachusetts, these massive herbivores are a conservation success story not just in our region, but also at HLT’s Stevens Property. Together with Hilltown Land Trust staff member and educators, we’ll learn about the adaptations that make moose so special, visit a moose habitat restoration area, and maybe even spot some moose scat.

The rain date for this hike is Sunday, November 17th at 1 pm.

Rescheduled from earlier date – this is now a daytime hike, not a dusk one!

Ages: All ages welcome!
Dogs: Well-behaved, leashed dogs may attend.
RSVP: Required.
Cost: $25 sliding scale (see below)
