June 28, 2017

Date/Time
Date(s) - Jun 28th, 2017
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Location
Bullitt Reservation

Hilltown Land Trust and Franklin Land Trust invite you to an evening workshop on bumble bees! Rob Gegear, PhD, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, will share his research on the startling decline of bumble bees, and some new technology that will allow you to help these important pollinators survive and thrive!

Learn about a new smartphone app called “Bee-cology.” Naturalists of any age or experience level can use “Bee-cology” to participate in this citizen science project geared towards monitoring and protecting bumble bees. This exciting new app will be available for download soon!

Free and open to all. Light refreshments provided. Come prepared to be outdoors!

Please register on Franklin Land Trust’s website.

To learn more, email Emily Johnson of Franklin Land Trust at ejohnson@franklinlandtrust.org, or call (413) 625-9151.
