A Community Treasure Needs Our Help
Due to the forecast of extreme high temperatures for Saturday, July 20th, the fundraiser hike for All Out Adventures with Hilltown, Franklin, and Kestrel Land Trusts has been moved indoors to the Goshen Town Hall. The town hall is on Rt.9, 2.3 miles west of the Breckenridge Sanctuary. There will be volunteers and signs to direct folks to the town hall. This is an accessible building.
Join us for this opportunity to mingle with representatives from All Out Adventures and the trio of land trusts. Karen Foster, Executive Director of All Out Adventures will give a presentation. Adaptive trikes will be available to try indoors, and we will have light refreshments.
At 2:30 pm, an optional caravan of participants and organizers will depart the town hall to head to the DAR State Forest for a swim and walk on the accessible trail along the water’s edge.
This fundraiser event is all about supporting the ability to adapt to circumstances and we find that this also includes extreme weather! It will be too hot for the dogs and they are not allowed to be inside. We look forward to having a cooler event and seeing a lot of warm smiles.
