A dark blue watercolor square with the text "Climate Smart Workshops at Home and Work, Session 1 of 5. Mapping Stormflows at Home and Work at Meekins Library. Williamsburg, MA Sat. March 30th, 9-10:30 am." Below are the icons of Hilltown Land Trust, the town of Williamsburg, Pioneer Valley Planning Commission, and Williamsburg Libraries.Learn simple backyard flood interventions you can do yourself in this practical, five-part workshop series introducing strategies for addressing climate impacts at the residential scale. This series is part of the Upper Mill River Watershed Project funded through the Commonwealth’s Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program.

Williamsburg resident Courteny Morehouse will open the Climate Smart Landscapes at Home and Work series with “Mapping Stormflows at Home and Work.” Courteny brings experience as an Environmental Planner with the Berkshire Region Planning Commission to introduce neighbors to tools and techniques to map the patterns of stormwater and runoff that threaten to inundate homes and workplaces. Courteny will show real-life examples of mapping the increased threat of stormflows at properties across Williamsburg.
