February 4, 2015

Date/Time
Date(s) - Feb 4th, 2015
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location
Petticoat Hill Reservation

Join Hilltown Land Trust for a guided hike at the Trustees of Reservations’ Petticoat Hill property on Wednesday, February 4th. This strenuous 1.5 mile climb will bring us 1,000 feet above South Williamsburg to what was once cleared pasture with views southeast to Mount Tom and the Holyoke Range. Today, this restored forest treats visitors to some of the tallest and most diverse hardwoods in the region including red and black oak, shagbark hickory, sugar and red maple, and yellow and black birch that tower over 110 feet high. Hikers of all ages are welcome. This event is free and open to the public.

Come dressed for the cold with boots and snow shoes, and a bottle of water.

RSVP with Nicole Rhodes at 413.628.4485 ex 4 or hltlandsteward@ttor.org
