Volunteer Stewardship Training Workshop
Hilltown Land Trust is offering volunteers, friends, and partners a free training workshop designed for community members who are interested in becoming volunteer land stewards for HLT or who just want to be more effective at stewarding their own property. This workshop introduces techniques for monitoring properties protected by fee or Conservation Restriction (CR). We’ll review the basics of conducting a site visit and get some practice in the field.
Training is free, but advance registration is required. The training will take place on Sunday April 13th from 1 to 4 p,m. at the Hilltown Community Development Corporation building in Chesterfield, MA. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
