Sarah Welch

Community Engagement Manager

She/her

Sarah, seen from the torso up, smiles into the camera in front of a sunlit field and hills.

Sarah connects people to Hilltown Land Trust’s mission of land conservation through communications, events, and programs. Prior to joining HLT’s staff, Sarah served two TerraCorps terms with the organization. She loves creating opportunities for people of all ages to find community and belonging in the outdoors.

Previously, Sarah led youth programs with nature centers and families in western Massachusetts. She holds an MS in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England and a BS in Anthropology from UMass Amherst. Sarah lives in Haydenville, where she plans whitewater kayak adventures, tends to her flock of antique sewing machines, and serves on the Williamsburg Woodland Trails Committee.
