After five incredible years as Hilltown Land Trust’s Engagement Manager, Katie Carr will be moving on this August. Katie actually came to HLT seven years ago, serving as an AmeriCorps member for two years before joining our staff team.
She has been a vital part of HLT’s growth over the last seven years and is largely responsible for our high-quality organizational communications, fundraising success, and several important new partnerships. Katie has also ensured this is a fun and inspiring place to work.
HLT will miss her strategic focus, stellar writing and editing skills, and the spirit she brings to the HLT team.
I personally will miss so many things about working with Katie. We’ve shared an office for five years – strategizing, writing, editing, meeting, visiting conserved land or land we want to conserve, laughing, playing games, taking walks, and so much more.
HLT will be looking for a new Engagement Manager. Please keep an eye out for a posting on our website, enews, and social media. If you know anyone with communications and fundraising skills who wants to work for a small, community-based non-profit, please send them our way.
