Spring/Summer Reading Group with HLT

March 31, 2021

This spring and summer, join Hilltown Land Trust staff and community members as we explore some newly released works as well as some old favorites in a casual, welcoming reading group. We will meet from 6:00-8:00 pm via Zoom on the final Thursday of each month during April through July. The selected books each address topics close to HLT’s core mission, and represent a range of genres including non-fiction nature writing, Indigenous history, and environmental justice. We are looking forward to discussions both entertaining and educational, and hope you’ll be able to join us! For more information on our reading schedule or the specific books we’ll be reading, follow the weeks below or email barry@hilltownlandtrust.org.

A brief introductory meeting will be held Thursday, April 1st at 6:00 pm. Sign up at the links below or email for the Zoom link!

April 29th – Vesper Flights by Helen Macdonald

May 27th – The Common Pot by Lisa Brooks

June 24th – Environmental Justice in a Moment of Danger by Julie Sze
