This time of year is always challenging for Hilltown Land Trust’s staff and Board, because we have to say goodbye to our TerraCorps members who bring so much energy, enthusiasm, expertise, and new ideas to our organization. Since September, our TerraCorps-AmeriCorps members Audrey and Barry have taken care of our trails, organized hikes and other public events, worked with our wonderful volunteers, written articles in our newsletter and posts on social media, and so much more! Please join us in thanking them for all their hard work this year!
Barry served as our Community Engagement Coordinator and has this to say about his service year:
I thoroughly enjoyed my time as HLT’s Community Engagement Coordinator, and the many opportunities I had to get to know the wonderful people and landscapes of the Hilltowns. After my service, I am relocating to the Upper Valley [NH/VT] region, and I hope to continue working in the conservation field.

Audrey served as our Land Stewardship Coordinator, and shared:
I so enjoyed getting to explore parts of the Hilltowns I have never been to and getting outside with our amazing volunteers these past 11 months with Hilltown Land Trust! Next year, I look forward to building off of the knowledge and experiences from this year and hopefully explore even more places while doing things that excite me.

We will miss Barry and wish him the best in the Upper Valley next year. And we are thrilled to be welcoming Audrey back in the fall for another service year, along with our new Community Engagement Coordinator! Thank you Barry and Audrey for your service to HLT and to America!
