Why Come to the Gorge?

November 17, 2022

The Gorge après Gorge is coming up soon! This fun, family-friendly, annual 5k trail run and walk is entering its 18th year this November.

Why should you sign up? Hear what past participants had to say about the event:

My family loves that the Gorge après Gorge is so community focused. It’s eight minutes from where we live, is such a gorgeous setting, and is approachable for new runners and kids. It’s just a sweet event. The kids ‘ran’ this the first time when they were 6 during the pandemic/virtual year, and ran all on their own last year for the first time (when it was in-person again). The course is closed, safe, and they are unable to get lost. It’s not intimidating, and everyone is supportive.

This has always been a favorite race of ours. Great energy. Gorgeous course.

-Melinda

Love this race. An annual tradition!

I love the sense of community that it has. So welcoming to all participants.

-Tom

We hope you can join us this year at the Chesterfield Gorge on Sunday, November 27th for the 5k trail run or family fun walk! Registration for both is open on RunReg until noon on November 26th. We hope to see you there!
