Guided Hike and/or Artful Scarecrow-Building Workshop

November 1, 2014

Date/Time
Date(s) - Nov 1st, 2014
11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Location
Bullitt Reservation

Join us for a hike on Bullitt Reservation trails from 11:00am-12:30pm on a guided ramble, finishing in time for the Artful Scarecrow-Building Workshop hosted by the Trustees of Reservations. Distance and pace will be determined by the group. Come dressed in layers and wear a pair of sturdy hiking shoes. For more info or to RSVP to the hike, email hltlandsteward@ttor.org or call (413) 628-4485 x4.

Then, come to the Trustees of Reservation’s Artful Scarecrow-Building Workshop with Michael Melle from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Bullitt Reservation, home to the Hilltown Land Trust. Michael Melle makes beautiful life-size figures from organic and found materials, and will provide materials and his expertise for you to build an artful scarecrow of your own.  See The Trustees of Reservation’s events page for more information. Registration for the workshop is required.
