Date(s) - Apr 29th, 2018
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Learn how to identify, responsibly harvest, and prepare edible invasive plants in this partnership event with Hilltown Land Trust and Kestrel Land Trust, co-sponsored by Grown in Westhampton. Russ Cohen will be instructing a plant ID class focused on, but not limited to, invasive plants. Russ has over forty years of teaching experience in foraging edible wild plants and wrote the book Wild Plants I Have Known…and Eaten. This 2.5 hour outing will be focused on a Japanese Knotweed harvest. The hike will be about a mile round trip to the river and back.

The event will take place on private property in Easthampton.

Cost: $5 suggested donation

Rain date: Monday, April 30 1:30 pm
