Join us at our newly acquired Fraser property in Chesterfield and help us get the trails ready for the official property opening! A network of trails featuring diverse woodlands, wetlands, vernal pools, a beaver pond, and a meadow will soon be open to the public. We need your help to ensure the trails are safe and enjoyable for all! Potential projects at this workday include bridge building, clearing brush, trimming branches and installing signs.
All experience levels are welcome! Dress in sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Work gloves and tools will be provided.
COST: Free
AGES: Adult and teen
DOGS: Please leave non-service dogs at home.

Accessibility
All experience levels are welcome for this workday. Work could be strenuous at times and may involve bending, lifting, cutting branches with hand tools, and working in proximity to a gas-powered chainsaw.
- Bathroom: There is no bathroom at this site
- Distance Traveled: Expect to walk 1-1.5 miles throughout the morning.
- Fragrances: To be respectful of those with allergies and environmental sensitivities, we ask that you please refrain from wearing strong fragrances.
- Parking: There are spaces for several cars on the grass by the trailhead and along the dirt road leading up to the trailhead.
- Public transportation: Public transit is not available.
- Seating: No seating will be provided.
- Surfaces: Compacted dirt parking lot, leaf-covered woods trail, potential for mud.
