Join us in celebrating the 51st anniversary of Earth Day with an afternoon of volunteer stewardship at HLT’s Breckenridge Sanctuary. HLT staff and community members will engage in some light upkeep and corridor maintenance work at Breckenridge, including clearing branches, sweeping trails, and picking up trash. Some tools will be available for volunteers, but please bring your own loppers, pruners, rakes, and gloves if available. We will gather at the route 9 parking area west of Williamsburg at 1:00 pm to receive our work assignments.
Please note there are no facilities at this location. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring any water, snacks, sunscreen, and insect repellent you require. Pre-registration and adherence to HLT’s COVID-19 policies (see below) are required for all participants.
