Late Spring Bird Walk

May 22, 2021

Date/Time
Date(s) - May 22nd, 2021
9:00 am - 11:00 am

Location
Berkshire Trail Elementary School

On Saturday, May 22nd join HLT and members of the Hoffman Bird Club for a guided bird walk in Cummington. We’ll visit promising observation spots along the North Branch of the Westfield River and nearby wetlands, fields, and forests. Led by naturalist Charlie Quinlan and Hoffman Bird Club Events chair Matt Kelly, our group will hope to catch plenty of morning activity and spot some interesting late spring visitors, including the American bittern. The walk will take roughly two hours, and cover mixed-terrain. Register using the form below to receive information on meeting location and itinerary.

Pre-registration and adherence to HLT’s COVID-19 policies are required for all participants (see below). All attendees (including members of the same family) must pre-register individually.

There is no cost for this event. Donations are always gratefully accepted. For more information, please contact barry@hilltownlandtrust.org.
