Our Wild Neighbors: Trail Cameras Talk

September 1, 2026

Date/Time
Date(s) - Sep 1st, 2026
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Location
Worthington Library

A black bear walks towards the camera while looking up and to its left. Behind is a spring forest just coming into green.Wildlife cameras give us a window into the lives of animals when we’re not around. Join HLT staff and trail cam photographer Mariel Hohmann to learn about Worthington wildlife, camera tips, and what this remarkable footage can teach us about our own backyards.

We will meet at the Worthington Library unless large registration numbers necessitate a larger space, in which we will update this page and contact those registered. Please RSVP to help us plan!

COST: Free
AGES: Adult and teen
RSVP: Required to help us plan

Accessibility

  • Steps and barriers: The library is accessed by an outdoor wooden ramp with hand rails, and does not have steps indoors on the first floor where the program will take place.
  • Audio: A PA system will not be used unless we anticipate a large group.
  • Bathroom: A small, indoor, single-stall, gender-neutral bathroom on the first floor of the library. The bathroom has hand rails, but not space for a wheelchair to turn around.
  • Fragrances: To be respectful of those with allergies and environmental sensitivities, please refrain from wearing strong fragrances.
  • Parking: Unmarked spots in a compacted gravel lot, with a narrow wood chip path or quiet paved roadside walking to access entrance ramp.
  • Public transportation: Public transport is not available to this location. Please contact us if you are interested in a carpool.
  • Seating: A variety of cushioned chairs, stools, and hard chairs will be available.
  • Surfaces: Indoor surfaces are low-pile wall-to-wall carpet.

We’re happy to discuss your access needs for this event! For questions and accommodation requests, please reach out to sarah@hilltownlandtrust.org or call (413) 628-4485 (ext. 6). You can also contact the Worthington Library directly with questions about the space: TheWorthingtonLibrary@gmail.com
