Date/Time
Date(s) - Sep 16th, 2023
9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Location

Learn about native plants, the insects that love them, and techniques for creating or expanding your own pollinator garden with Amy Pulley at Wing and a Prayer Nursery in this hands-on workshop!

Surrounded by Amy’s extensive pollinator gardens and native plant nursery, we’ll learn about habitat gardening with native plants through the lens of plant-insect interactions. Then, using a plan or pictures of a space you’d like to transform into a pollinator habitat, get creative and start designing your own pollinator haven.

Lunch will be provided from Alice’s Kitchen, with dietary accommodations available by request.

Win a Pollinator Gardening Deck!

A deck of cards featuring a bee on a flower that says "Pollinator Garden Planning Deck."All participants in the Pollinator Gardening Workshop are automatically entered in a drawing for this Pollinator Garden Planning Deck from That’s A Plenty Farm. The deck features 105 full-color flower cards with photos and planting tips.

  • Seating: During the garden tour and talk portion, we will have portable chairs available to take as we walk. Please contact us if you’d like to arrange a seating option that’s more comfortable or accessible for you!
