Preparing for Emerald Ash Borer

Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources forest pest outreach coordinator Javier Marin and senior arborist for Eversource Calvin Layton will present on the invasive tree insect Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) that is continuing to spread across Massachusetts. Marin will speak on the projected spread of the pest, and how to detect trees and manage forests infected with EAB. Layton will speak about the additional challenges of handling and felling ash trees infected with EAB.
