Winter Hiking Fundamentals Webinar

January 11, 2023

Date/Time
Date(s) - Jan 11th, 2023
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

A group of snowshoers gaze at distant hills across a snowy field.

The weather has turned chilly and the snow is falling: it’s time for winter hiking! Learn the essentials of safe, fun winter recreation in this online webinar. Presenters from Hilltown Land Trust, All Out Adventures, and more will discuss skills like planning a route, choosing gear, and staying safe. Plus, we’ll take your questions about winter hiking in a Q&A session at the end!

This webinar is intended as an introduction to hiking on terrain similar to Hilltown Land Trust’s service area. For higher elevation winter hiking and mountaineering, the Appalachian Mountain Club and independent guides can offer guidance geared towards advanced hikers.

Zoom-generated closed captioning will be available during the event.
