Accessible Trails Public Forum (Webinar)

May 8, 2025

Date/Time
Date(s) - May 8th, 2025
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

A white background with photos, description, date, time and link to the May 8th public forum.

There are three photos across the top of the flyer: The photo on the left features two hikers traveling side-by-side on an unpaved accessible trail, one is using a mobility scooter. The middle photo depicts an accessible trail with a crushed stone surface going through a field with tall grass, and trees in the background.

The right photo has a green sign in the foreground that says “Massachusetts has thousands of miles of trails, less than 1% meet accessibility standards”, in the background there are hikers on an accessible trail traveling away from the camera, one is pushing a hiking wheelchair.

The title “Accessible trails” appears in dark green, all capital letters. The line below says “public forum” in light green text. The middle of the flyer has a dark green box with white text that gives a description of the event.

The date and time appear at the bottom along with a link to register by zoom. The bottom corner of the flyer also features the logos of the Massachusetts Office of Outdoor Recreation, the agency hosting the forum, and three other groups that are also involved in the event: the Massachusetts Trail Access Work Group, Unpaved Trails For All, and Dodson and Flinker Landscape Architecture and Planning. Do you have a disability, have a loved one with a disability, or advocate for accessible outdoor spaces? Our state partners invite you to join them for this virtual event on May 8th to share your experiences on Massachusetts trails and ideas for making trails more accessible. Hosted by the Massachusetts Office of Outdoor Recreation, this session is part of the Trails for All statewide initiative to improve outdoor accessibility and ensure everyone can enjoy Massachusetts’ trails.

Captions available. Simultaneously translated into Spanish, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Portugese, and Vietnamese.
