Capturing Creatures: Wildlife Camera and Illustration Webinar

February 17, 2022

Date/Time
Date(s) - Feb 17th, 2022
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

A deer with fuzzy antlers bends to sniff its hind legs while looking into the trail camera. A green, sunlit wetland is in the background.

We are excited to announce that last year’s popular Wildlife Camera and Illustration Webinar is back! Join us on Thursday, February 17th from 6 to 8 pm for a workshop dedicated to capturing images of the wildlife around us.

At 6 pm, CR Wildlife Cam’s wildlife camera expert and Conservation Restriction Program Manager for The Trustees Sally Naser will share some of her wonderful images from cameras across the state. In addition, she’ll offer advice for the aspiring wildlife camera photographer, including what to look for in a camera, siting recommendations, and more.

At 7 pm, contemporary artist Elizabeth Whelan will lead an introductory lesson on wildlife illustration, using images taken by Naser’s cameras as models. Her focus will be on the skills needed to quickly capture the details of wildlife when viewed in their natural habitat.

Zoom-generated closed captioning will be available during the event.

Questions? Call (413) 628-4485 ext. 6 or email sarah@hilltownlandtrust.org.

Registration for this event is closed.
