It’s that time of year again! Join us for this year’s Gorge après Gorge 5k Trail Run and Free Family Fun Walk on December 1st. This annual event is entering its 15th year, scheduled on the Sunday after Thanksgiving at the Chesterfield Gorge.
The 5k trail run begins at 9:30 AM and the walk starts at 11 AM. Runners and walkers use a well-marked course with a beautiful view of the Westfield River. Hot beverages and a community potluck round off this event, which awards handmade hats to the winners, and a home baked cookie medal to all race participants.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: A well-marked course, the dirt road/trail is a slightly hilly out and back along the Wild and Scenic Westfield River, starting at the Chesterfield Gorge. Hot chocolate, coffee, and tea ready and waiting at the finish line. Please bring some treats to share for the potluck!
REGISTRATION:
Preregister now on RunReg to reserve your spot in the 5k or the Family Fun Walk and to be entered in the giveaway with prizes donated by local businesses. Preregistration ends midnight, Nov. 29th.
- 5k Individual preregistration (general): $20
- 5k Individual preregistration (members of HLT or The Trustees): $15

- 5k Individual day of: $25
- Family (up to 4 members from same household): $60
- Children 9 and under: FREE
- Family Fun Walk: FREE
FREE FAMILY FUN WALK: Please preregister on RunReg now to help us plan the free walk. After the run, join us for the 15th annual FREE family fun walk/run at 11am. All are welcome. More hot chocolate, coffee, tea for all.
