Learn how to effectively monitor the protected lands you love. We will discuss land protection tools, go over the basics of conducting a site visit, and get some practice in the field. Emphasis will be on understanding the basics of GPS use, including how to take a track of where you walk, mark points of interest and upload the information onto a simple digital map.

Learn how to effectively monitor the protected lands you love. We will discuss land protection tools, go over the basics of conducting a site visit, and get some practice in the field. Ideal participants will be willing to monitor at least one Hilltown Land Trust property in the spring season.
