Walden Film Screening & Discussion

February 26, 2018

Date/Time
Date(s) - Feb 26th, 2018
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Location
Westhampton Memorial Library

Come to this free screening of Walden, a new documentary short film about the creation and enduring legacy of Henry David Thoreau’s writing, including his most famous book Walden: or, Life in the Woods. The film was executive produced by Ken Burns, narrated by Robert Redford, and features Don Henley, David McCullough, Terri Tempest Williams, Bill McKibben, and Doris Kearns Goodwin, among others.

Stick around after the 20-minute film for a discussion, led by TerraCorps members Katie Carr and Marilyn Castriotta from Hilltown Land Trust and Kestrel Land Trust, of how Thoreau’s work continues to resonate in our world today.

RSVPs are appreciated so we know how many to expect. Call Katie at 413-628-4485, ext 4, or email hltoutreach [at] thetrustees [dot] org.
