On Wednesday, April 22nd, help us celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day by giving back to the land!

maintain public trails.
During this pandemic, we see how crucial the natural world is to our health and well-being. We are fortunate in the Hilltowns to have many places to safely enjoy the outdoors. Imagine living somewhere that you couldn’t access public trails, open space, and scenic views.
People like you make it possible for Hilltown Land Trust to conserve these places for the benefit of all. Together, we are part of a community effort to protect natural areas that increase the quality of life for all, both in the Hilltowns and beyond. Just like people who organized the Earth Day movement 50 years ago, we see the power in collective action.

This is why we have teamed up with our partner regional land trusts in Western MA for Give Back to the Land Day on April 22nd. Will you join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day this year by giving back to the land that does so much for you?
As part of our giving day, we are also asking for donations to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Conserving land to help fight the climate crisis was critical before this crisis, and continues to be critical both now and when we get through this. But at this moment, many are struggling to meet basic needs that the Food Bank help provide. When you donate to Hilltown Land Trust on April 22nd, you will see an option to donate to the Food Bank. Please consider supporting them as well when you give back to the land.
Please help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000 raised by April 22nd to give back to the land! All gifts will be matched, up to $3,000, thanks to a generous gift from our current and previous Board members. With our matching gift, this will mean a total of $8,000 going directly towards protecting and stewarding land right here in the Hilltowns!
If it is within your means at this time, please make a gift this Earth Day to Hilltown Land Trust to support this important work.
